Getting the bulb and keel blade finished off by fairing the lead metal bulb and fairing the bottom of the keel blade to match. The top of the bulb has been cut to receive the keel blade and the hole for the threaded rod has been honed to take the one nut and washer from underneath to bind the two parts together. Because of the square top on the keel blade the blade and bulb can't be bolted together until they're in position in the keel box.
Got a little sponsorship money from a real estate development company yesterday so I went on a little spending spree. I got our outboard, and paid for all our cordage.
Next jobs are to wait for our race sails (second-hand) to be re-cut, have the outboard bracket made up, and wire up our navigation lights and vhf............getting close now.
